Once upon a time, the Ark of the Covenant was kept inside the Holy of Holies. The High Priest spent seven days of isolation and preparation to atone for his personal sins and those of the nation. On the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) the High Priest alone performed sacrificial offering to the Lord. In the wilderness only Moses and Aaron were permitted to enter the presence of the Ark. Their descendants are the Levite tribe. Further kinship was the basis for the Levitical Priesthood. They became chosen stewards for all things of faith with good reason. Anyone else was prohibited from interfering with Priesthood business for their own protection. Some learned the hard way not to meddle. In 2 Chronicles 26:17-19, the narrative about King Uzziah attempting to burn incense and usurp ritual results in Uzziah contracting leprosy. A Philistine army captured the Ark to cause great calamity to their people of Ashdod. Suffering from tumors, mice and a broken down false statue god, they sent the Ark back to the Israelites (1 Samuel 4-6). Legend also states the High Priest tied a rope to his ankle so people outside could pull him out if needed.

God's power is, was and will ever be a spiritual, divine "presence" imbued upon the Most Holy Place and everything associated. A covering is over the real Holy of Holies: the Ark of the Covenant, all sacred furnishings, Western Wall and the entire Temple Mount. Spirit is intangible and applies to people, places and things whether intact or scattered. Testimony and written Word preserve this information for future generations. The world over continues to add new growth to the faithful body. Since Prince Moses and revelation at Mt. Sinai, Torah fosters new branches. Christianity is one such extension grown from a cut off stub. Teachers and preachers abound with new interpretations and offer individual testimony.

This psudo - Holy_of_Holies is an attempt to rebuild sacred Genesis calendar formula lost and scattered thoughout history. Far less grandiose than the authentic, an ethereal version enables modern technology use combined with due respect. Researching early biblical calendar information acquires bits and pieces from other systems and walks of life. Understanding time enables stone age archives be gleaned. Deep historical, spiritual excavation has consequences. For example, I knew another engineer who once said, "I had to buy a new car. My wife was in a car wreck." He followed with: "I was thinking about getting one beforehand and had not decided for sure." I nonchalantly replied, "You thought too louldly." His jaw dropped. He seemed astonished at my truth. Personal testimony helps examine supernatural channels in league with factual material.

Study of Yom Kippur leaves one to believe the 1440 BCE origin date as mentioned in Leviticus 16. Going forward, Yom Kippur and Jewish Calendar investigation is an arduous task. After two sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu were punished for unclean acts at the original Most Holy Place of Moses, we can accept why purity was so important (Leviticus 10:1-3). Pretend you are with a group standing outside the Second Temple on Yom Kippur, 66 BCE. Locals talk about civic matters, such as Roman encroachment on Jewish monotheisic tenets. Some relate personal concerns about Greco-Roman polytheism and how to protect their collective heritage. The High Priest has stayed separate, avoiding distractions and cleansing himself both physically and emotionally for today. He exits at the end of day gaining everyone's favor by pleasing God. Proper observance will produce triumph over Roman occupation. Religous leadership continues during later conflict until oppressive Romans sieze control over governmental and secular functions. Roman client King Herod is appointed in 40 BCE. He adds a taste of Roman architecture to the Second Temple while preserving the central worship site. Against this turbulent backdrop two critical inflections happen. The Roman Empire adopts a new Julian solar calendar (45 BCE) and begins to impose scheduled taxes throughout the Holy Lands. Augustus Caesar then modifies the Julian calendar by adding his namesake month, August. The second item sets the stage for advent of the Gospels and ensuing Christian framework.

Destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE leaves people to observe Yom Kippur through meditation and payer. Attention to past sins cleanses the mind and spirit for the future. Sevices, fasting and a final blow of the shofar or ram's horn signal the end of the solemn day. An imaginary Holy_of_Holies is erected whereby people can assume responsibities previously assigned to the High Priest. Staying in context permits adding individual Testimony to the aggregate. As a person with feet in both camps, my Christianity cannot absolve me of eternal sin (Mark 3:29). The other side of that coin is eternal life given through the blood of Jesus (Romans 5:21). My personal Testimony included 22 articles that were published while writing Ages_of_Adam. My thinking was to always keep this particular material separate. I needed to write about these experiences without mixing them into Holy stuff. Natural questions were bound to arise about how I coined my conclusions. Some were revised and several more have been added to the collection. I focused my Testimony_Articles to explain various reasons behind the research. I can attest to witnessing divine intervention, consistently and sometimes accidentally. Newton's third law of motion states: "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." I suggest this law is true in the heavenly realm also. Another famed adage comes into play: "on earth as it is in heaven." Special ancient calendar knowledge; the units and numbering can and will pull levers in heaven. We must wait for those results to occur. God's machine to create the future is the calendar. Knowing that, reality past and future can change in one fell swoop.
